This might just be a story of my life. Could turn into a kind of Diary... Er Journal of my life. Then again it could turn into something much like what you find in the wheel well of your car.

DIY video demo, how to make Emergen-C
A while back I made a very informative post on how to make your very own cup of Emergen-C, which you can see by clicking HERE. It got a few views, which was great because I think I helped some people get over sinus infections, allergic reactions and the like but I felt it was lacking, so I went ahead and made an improvement by filming the whole ordeal in a step by step process so nobody misses a single thing. I think you will like it.
Now I know it might be overwhelming to see just how simple it is to make yourself a wonderful cup of flu fighting Emergen-C, but do not be alarmed, I will not share your shock with others. It will be our little secret. So get out there with the new found knowledge my fancy new video imparted on you and fight those allergies, colds and anemic episodes!

Emergen-C
Recently I have had the most terrible Allergies! I think it's my parents fault, I inherited their susceptibility to pollen or whatever it is. My father always get such bad allergies that all the drugs in the world never seem to help. He is sneezing and blowing his nose all day, then his eyes are so itchy he has trouble keeping them open. Now on my mothers side she gets head aches and terrible sinus pressure pain, enough to put her off a day of work. Then what happy mixture do you get when you combine these wonderful things? That's right, me!
I guess I lucked out though, because the days I'm really afflicted with my allergies are few and far between, usually just a simple Claritin will do. But as of late I have had probably the worst reaction I have ever experienced.
It all started with a normal bad pollen day, I thought just a simple pill, some extra water and I would be good. But NOPE, boy howdy was I mistaken!
As the day progressed I gradually got worse and worse, my nose was beginning to require tissue paper, and I was sneezing more then a few times. By this stage I was wondering if I had actually taken the allergy pill , or if it had been an Advil by mistake?
More Time elapses and I'm starting to feel pressure on my forehead and upper cheeks just below my eyes. Sinus Pressure, oh no, I could tell this day was not going to end well. I was right, by the end of the day My head feels like you could poke it with a pin and pop it and even my voice now sounds like I'm sick due to congestion. Feeling like my day was wasted I take great comfort in the thought that healing occurs mainly while asleep, and that I would wake up feeling better the next day.
The next day, I'm feeling good, my nose is not super clogged and my head has only very small amount of pain. Feeling pleased I go about my day, take my normal allergy pill again, and go to school. Now, I think the trees or other pollen producing plants could tell I was feeling better so they must have redoubled their efforts and targeted my nasal cavity with their pollen because after just two hours I was already back to terrible life wasting feeling I was at the night before and I had the whole day to survive.. By the fourth Hour in the second day of my allergy attack I was starting to get a even larger and more sever and pinpointed head ache. The worsening effect , and pain when touching the effected area told me one thing. My allergies have given me a Sinus Infection. I then realized that My allergies were going to kill me if I did not step up my game.
Having reached the point of kill or be killed I needed to get the big guns out, and take off the gloves and stop messing around. I needed to do something serious!
I went to the store and and got myself a two pack of something called Emergen-C . It's a powdered 20 calorie form of a multi vitamin with the emphasis on Vitamins C (1000 mg) and B (ranges from 25%-500% of daily value) and also has a wide range of lesser minerals and things like calcium zinc and chromium (most of these are about 5% daily Value) .
I took both packets, and within 30 minutes I was feeling better, not great, not good, but better.
Here is the two pack how it comes, and the on the right is a single packet. They fold back the top to make it more compact, that is why the bend in it.
Then all the nutritional information , the weirdest stuff I saw on the packet were things called Alpha Lipoic Acid (1mg) and Quercetin (1mg) . These are both things I have not heard of but I'm happy to look it up! If you interested just give me a holler~!
I decided to go with a stronger flavor by adding less water. This stuff is the best because it actually tastes good! and you don't get the gross "after burps" you get from regular Vitamins!
Now to wrap it up. I went and got a larger box of Emergen-C and took one every hour for 4 hours, and by the end of the day I was feeling about 75% better. Still not great, but much better. So I would recommend getting this stuff, least for a try if your feeling down, or starting to get sick.
KK! thanks for reading, next time I'll show you what else I have been doing in my Anatomy class!

And Finally, I'm very happy they decided to cater to the kind of people who cant understand putting less water into the bottle makes it a stronger flavor. But least it shows they care

My doggies.
These are my two dogs. They are named KunKun and Cow.
This is KunKun. He is a poodle, and he is crazy in the head! He was raised half by me and half by a Japanese lady. But he was born in Mexico. So, he is a Mexican raised by a Japanese lady and living with white people. HAHA!

KunKunKun Kun got his name from his Japanese owner. She told me that KunKun translates to Teddy Bear . I recently looked it up on Google, and I found that KunKun actually means "sniff". So either she spelled his name wrong, got it mixed up, or in her dialect that is actually what it means. I am no student of Japanese either, so I could just be wrong.
Cow Got her name because the name my sister gave her nobody likes. My sister named her Ena... Ena is a fine name. It is not bad in any way, except it could be seen as short for enema (you know the thing you stick up your butt?) . SO! I decided to call her cow because of the color of her coat. She looks like a typical cow when you think of a cow. so funny!
Now these are the two dog bowls. The one with the heart is Cows and the one that is all black and white is for Kun Kun. The trouble I'm having with them now is getting them to not eat each others food. This would normally not be a problem, except that Cow is allergic to most normal store brand dog foods and will break out in a pinkish itchy rash if she eats it. So we have to feed her a all natural salmon based dog food. Special formula for pitt bulls, or least that is what the guy at the pet store said. She likes it and does not break out when eating it.
However KunKun likes it as well, and he tries to eat it. Then Cow notices KunKun eating her food so she eats his food... and it's all just a big mess. Oh well, thats the joy of raising dogs!
OK, thanks for reading everybody! have fun, and come back again soon!

This is Cow. She is a pit bull, and a very friendly one at that. She loves people , and once she gets to know other dogs she likes them too! My sister just showed up with Cow one day, and she has been part of the family ever since.

Should I really start my own hive?
I am seriously considering starting my own bee hive. My biggest problem is going to be the city zoning and ordinances i suppose.
This process looks really quite simple to do. all you do is prepare your hive. set up your box. spray the bees with sugar water to make them drunk and fat so they are more docile. Then break open the box put them in, then tack the queen bee to the inside of the hive.
I have seen many videos where the people used all premade materials and basically set it all up from a kit. This guy seems to have just made his hive from a bunch of wood and planks. I have not actually made a hive myself, but I think for the first time I would go with the kit. Seems like it would be much easier.
This is a video of some guys who used a "kit" to set up their hive. They are not as knowledgeable on the topic of bees. but they do a good job from what I can tell.
So should I start a bee hive in my sister and brother in laws back yard? I think they would like it.
