A good date gone WRONG!

So here I am minding my own business, out with my girlfriend. We just had a small bite to eat, and decided to go to the batting cages, and maybe spend a few buck on games of skill to win tickets for HUGELY over priced goods and maybe play a round of mini golf? So we head over to our favoirite place to get all of these fun activities in one. But low and behold

THE PLACE IS CLOSED!
As the Pictures show, there is a great fence around the whole lot. Nobody was seen inside of the fence. AND to top it off there was not even a sign posted saying why the place was fenced off! Makes me sad. Although, there is still hope for humanity!
I'm hoping that they have fenced off the grounds for a remodel. Like to replace  the old and broken stuff. In order to make it all better! If this is truly the case, that it's all just a short little break, then I'm happy. Much like down time for your favorite online game. They need time to shut down and do an update...
However, If the place is shut down for good I will cry, and hide in a corrner for some time, then pull myself together and make the drive to the other place that is similar to this. Sad really, because this place was the closest one to my house, and the others are like an extra 20 mins away, or you have to pay a 5$ brigde toll to get to the one that is 10 mins further away.










But, just so you know, the "date" night was not ruined! We decided to go to ROSS the clothing and strange items store. Inside, we parused the cooking gear, spices, and strange artwork. The night redeemer was a weird piece of "art" that I found at Ross, which will soon find a new home at my sister and brother in laws house with out them knowing. It will "magically" appear in their main room on their wall. All because I'm such a nice brother. HEHEHE!

    yeah, happened to a swimming place in my town. Fenced the whole place off and never reopened! :(

    I'm sorry to hear that. Mini golding places are fun! And it sounds like you have a good relationship with your sister and brother in law to be able to hang random pieces of art in their house. Do you have your own key or something?

    With the economy in a recessive state, people are spending less-and-less money on frivolous entertainment.

    A place like this, with minigolf/go-carts/laser tag, closed in my town recently as well.
