Day of Protest.

The world of the internet is under attack by the US government. haha, or at least that is what EVERYBODY would like you to think. I would happen to agree with them, all those who are in outcry against SOPA and PIPA.

Google has put up their graphic Google picture with a censorship bar over it. This is a attention getter, if I do say so, and then if you click on it the graphic will take you to a page where you can sign a petition to help stop PIPA and SOPA . This is probably the EASIEST way to voice your concern and to tell the government  you don't like these acts. so do it! haha.

Even Craiglist has gone black today. So no searching for people willing to trade their broken snowboard for whatever, or those sexy singles who are willing to give you a massage for any number of roses. Just glad they are getting in on this.

Now wiki has gone black , many are wondering if wiki goes black will it ever go back? If you want to do more then basically send an email then you should try Wiki. Wiki will give you more information right off the bat to allow you to contact your congressman/senator directly. All you gotta do is type in your zip code.

Interestingly enough Wikipedia seems to think that the USA is a country that only speaks English, how quaint, because if you try to access  a Wikipedia page in a language other then English it will produce the information you want. However it will , at least in the case of using wiki in Spanish, put a bar at the top with a little information on it and a way to find out more info.

So, even if you only speak English, get out there and help stop the online piracy acts. Piracy is a problem on the internet, your movies/music and stuff are not cheap to make, and those who make it should get paid for what they do, however these piracy acts are NOT the way to handle the situation. These will basically shut down a good portion of what you call the internet, and it will never be the same.

ok guys, get out there and save the interwebs!

  2. en.mobile.wikipedia/ARTICLEHERE still works. I'm glad to see these sites taking action. I'm a bit disappointed that Google didn't completely shut down the search engine though. That would have sent a VERY strong message, and virtually EVERYBODY would have written in. As it stands, what, maybe 2 or 3 senators have withdrawn support?

  3. this is a real nightmare. How many centuries does it take to turn America to another China/Cuba? One SOPA and one PIPA and braindead maniacs in congress

  4. I beg to differ. It is my world that is under attack, and it's an alien zombie attack. I am besieged and have no handsome lover to save me.
