Lets start a new chapter.

I will be documenting a hole, maybe two. The hole gets closed up for about 3 days at a time, then get opened again and stays that way for about a week.
This is a portion of fence along side a canal near my housing place. This particular portion of fence is where a bridge used to run over the creek for easy access to the outside world. However after a murder was reported to have occurred in one of the houses I live near and the perp escaped over this said bridge, it was torn down. The home owners thought that would be the end of the problem. Little did they suspect that the need to not walk long distances would make our fence become less of a fence, and more like Swiss cheese. These pictures were taken 05/28/2011

In this picture you can see the canal or creek, the fence, and the HOLE cut into the fence.

This is a close up of what they have to cut to get through it. The fence has two layers; they typical chain link, and the second layer of thicker metal that I suspect is actually concrete reinforcement. That means they are planning ahead. A single pair of hand clippers would not do the trick, unless you have hands like a gorilla . They obviously bring a nice big pair of bolt cutters.

This hole is a gateway to crime and children dying by falling into the canal. Just last year a couple teens were found dead when they planned to raft down this canal. So lets see how this fence gets treated!

THX all for the reads! come back again soon!
